✔ Starting Even With Limited Finances

Hi! My name is Rory Edge. For years, I have always wanted to open a care home for seniors, but I just didn't have the industry knowledge and insight in order to do it on my own. Job loss, bankruptcy, and having to move my family into a hotel temporarily was my breaking point. It forced me to find a way to turn my passion for seniors into guaranteed monthly income. Not knowing where to even start with opening a home had me feeling lost. Day after day left the feelings of anxiety in the pit of my stomach, and at times, I just felt like walking away from the idea of owning a senior care home altogether because there was no way I could navigate all of the local, state, and federal regulations. I tried watching YouTube videos and even sourced some senior care home books from the local libraries. They did in fact provide some insight but there were still a bunch of holes missing in the process which left me hopeless and still without an open home. One day, the light came on! One day, I decided that I had done enough research, took what I had learned, and started to take action! I went on a search and located my very 1st facility in a small city in Southwest Georgia. Since that time, I acquired other successful senior care homes, and eventually acquired a 10,000sqft, 16 bed facility. The more steps I took, the more the more attainable the goal.
